Inherent Skills:
Sheathe Katana Inherent Active
Spend a Main Action to sheathe your katana. You may choose whether to begin the battle with your katana sheathed or unsheathed. While your katana is sheathed, your Movement Speed is increased by 20’. Skills with Battojutsu in their name will deal bonus damage if your katana was sheathed before being used.

Basic Skills:

Ascetic Soul Basic Active - Buff
Show off your impressive technique by slicing away at your foes.

Effect: Whenever you perform a Normal Attack or Single Target Active - Offensive skill and hit, roll 1d6. On a result of 4-6, you may perform a Normal Attack which Ignores Defense. You may choose to sheathe your katana after this attack. Increase the result of your roll by 1 for every 2 points of your Dexterity Modifier. You cannot have Ascetic Soul and Samurai Spirit active at the same time. You may use this skill as a Quick Action, or you may move your entire Movement Speed during your Move Phase and still use this skill as your Main Action.

Battojutsu: Horizon Split Basic Active - Offensive
Step forward and perform a horizontal slash at your target.

Combat Effects: Deals 2d6 + PDMG physical Light damage. The target gains 1 stack of Bleeding. Deals a bonus 1d6 damage if your katana was sheathed. Unsheathes your katana.

Battojutsu: Suppressing Slice Basic Active - Offensive
Slash at a foe to disrupt their flow.

Combat Effects: Deals 2d4 + PDMG physical damage. Leaves the target Flow Blocked for 1 round. Deals a bonus 1d4 damage if your katana was sheathed. Unsheathes your katana.

Impairing Thrust Basic Active - Offensive
Thrust forward with your katana to impair an enemy.
Attack Type: Physical Property: Single Target

Combat Effects: Deals 1d8 + PDMG physical damage. Leaves the target Flow Blocked for 1 round. If the target was already Flow Blocked, this skill deals 2d6 damage instead. Sheathes your katana.

Samurai Spirit Basic Active - Buff
Gather your spirit to increase your damage and evasion for a period of time.
Attack Type: Magical Property: Target User
FP Cost: 3 FP Range: None
Buff Duration: 3 rounds Cool Down Category: C
Effect: Physical Damage +3, Physical Evasion +2. You cannot have Samurai Spirit and Ascetic Soul active at the same time. You may use this skill as a Quick Action, or you may move your entire Movement Speed during your Move Phase and still use this skill as your Main Action.

Tiger Flip Basic Active - Offensive
Flip forward, slashing with your katana on the way down.

Combat Effects: Deals 2d6 + PDMG physical damage. Sheathes your katana. After this skill resolves, your character lands adjacent to the target.

Perform a special upward swing technique that sheathes your katana after use.

Battojustu: Steel Splinter Advanced Active - Offensive
Find the weak points in your opponent's defense, and quickly draw your katana to attack them.
Attack Type: Physical Property: Single Target
FP Cost: 4 FP Range: 0’ - 5’

Combat Effects: Deals 3d6 + PDMG physical damage. Ignores Defense. Deals a bonus 1d6 damage if your katana was sheathed. Unsheathes your katana.

Battojutsu: Storm Slasher Advanced Active - Offensive
Swing your katana with intense force, causing a flurry of wind to strike a foe.
Attack Type: Magical Property: Single Target
FP Cost: 4 FP Range: 0’ - 20’

Combat Effects: Deals 3d6 + PDMG magical Wind damage. Chance to cause 1 stack of Bleeding on a 1d6 roll of 1-2, 2 stacks on a roll of 3-4, and 3 stacks on a roll of 5-6. This skill deals a bonus 1d6 damage if the target is Knocked Up. This skill deals a bonus 1d6 damage if your katana was sheathed. Unsheathes your katana.

Bolt Slash Advanced Active - Offensive
Dash past your target while slashing them at the same time.
Attack Type: Physical Property: Single Target
FP Cost: 3 FP Range: 0’ - 5’

Combat Effects: Deals 3d8 + PDMG physical Lightning damage. After this skill resolves, your character is now adjacent to the target on the opposite side from which you attacked. Sheathes your katana. If another unit is in direct physical contact of the target and the attack hits, then that unit must perform a Vitality check. If they roll a 12 or higher, they pass and only take half damage from the attack. If they fail, they take full damage.
Other Effects: Bolt Slash is capable of destroying wooden objects.

Dragon Flight Advanced Active - Offensive
Shoot a gust of wind from below a foe with a swipe of your katana.
Attack Type: Magical Property: Single Target
FP Cost: 3 FP Range: 0’ - 20’
Cool Down Category: A
Combat Effects: Deals 3d6 + PDMG magical Wind damage. Leaves the target Knocked Up. Sheathes your katana.

Parry Advanced Passive - Defensive Buff
Ready your katana to parry almost any attack that comes your way. Whenever you become the target of a Single Target attack that is not a Daily skill, you may perform a Dexterity check before rolling to evade. If your Dexterity check is higher than the attacker’s hit roll, you successfully parry the attack, and the attack is cancelled. You may only parry an attack if your katana is unsheathed.

Writ of Binding Advanced Active - Offensive Debuff
Stab into the soul of your opponent, knocking them back and marking them with an accursed Writ of Binding.
Attack Type: Physical Property: Single Target
FP Cost: 4 FP Range: 0’ - 5’
Debuff Duration: 3 rounds Cool Down Category: B
Combat Effects: Deals 2d8 + PDMG physical Dark damage. The target is Knocked Back by Strength Modifier*5’. While the target is marked, they are Flow Blocked. Sheathe your katana while the mark is active to deal 2d8 + PDMG magical Dark damage. Sheathing as a result of a skill does not activate the mark.

Daily Skills:

Battojutsu: Sanctum Edge Daily Active - Offensive
Dash forward, slashing everything in your way with an intense flurry of strikes.
Attack Type: Physical Property: Cleave AoE
FP Cost: None Range: 0’ - 15’
Cool Down Category: D
Combat Effects: Deals 3d10 + 20 + PDMG physical Light damage to all units in a 15’x15’ area in front of you. After this skill resolves, place your character on the opposite side of the 15’x15’ area. Deals a bonus 2d10 damage if your katana was sheathed. Deals a bonus 2d10 damage to Knocked Up units. For the rest of the battle, each hit unit must roll 1d6 at the beginning of their turn. On a result of 3-6, they are Flow Blocked that turn. Unsheathes your katana.
Overflow Bonus: 8 HP cost - Damage +2d10. Ignores Defense. Increase area to 25’x25’.
Other Effects: Sanctum Edge is capable of destroying stone objects.

Mirage Blade Daily Active - Offensive
Move at such godlike speeds that it appears as though there are multiples of you attacking your target.
Attack Type: Physical Property: Single Target
FP Cost: None Range: 0’ - 5’
Cool Down Category: D
Combat Effects: Deals 5d12 + 12 + PDMG physical damage. The next time you would be hit by an attack, it misses instead, even if it’s a Critical Hit. For the rest of the battle, your attacks roll to hit with Advantage, your Physical Evasion and Magic Evasion are increased by 3, you Critically Evade on a natural roll of 5-6, you do not need to Critically Evade to evade AoE attacks, and your Movement Speed is increased by 30’.
Overflow Bonus: 12 HP cost - Damage +2d12 + 12. This skill cannot be evaded.
