1st Tier Invocations:
La Bry (Light)
Incantation: O shining body of the goddess, illuminate the darkness so that I may see.
Fatigue Gained: 1 on activation and 1 per hour active
Full Cast Effect: Creates a ball of light in your hand that illuminates the area within 30’ of you.
Short Cast Effect: Same as Full Cast, but gain 2 fatigue on activation and duration instead of 1. Short Casting Le Bry may be performed as a Quick Action.
Description: Many spellcasters prefer to learn La Bry in addition to Da Chot in case torches are unavailable or are not a viable source of light.
La Ilya (Illusion)
Incantation: O holy light of the goddess. Bend and take form from within my mind.
Fatigue Gained: 3 on activation and 3 per minute active
Effect: This invocation cannot be Short Casted. Creates any illusion as large as a 20’ x 20’ x 10’ room for the duration of the spell. The illusion can move freely and change form on a whim as long as it does not break the maximum dimensions. The illusion can appear perfectly solid, but since it is made of light, it is completely intangible. The illusion is immediately dispelled if your concentration is broken, such as when taking damage or performing a different action.
Description: This spell was originally created for entertainment purposes, since it could create an illusion of anything. Even in modern times, it is still occasionally used for entertainment.
La Viso (Invisibility)
Incantation: O holy light of the goddess. Twist and turn and hide me from sight.
Fatigue Gained: 4 on activation and 4 per minute active
Full Cast Effect: Your body becomes completely invisible for the duration of the spell.
Short Cast Effect: Same as Full Cast, but you gain 8 fatigue per minute active instead of 4.
Description: Along with Go Sen, La Viso was most often used for infiltration and scouting. However, it’s a more tiring spell to use in comparison, so La Viso was generally only used in emergency situations.
2nd Tier Invocations:
KaiLa Faiza (Teleport)
Incantation: O holy light of the goddess. Take me where I need be.
Fatigue Gained: 6 per 20’ traveled
Full Cast Effect: Disperses your body into light and reform somewhere else within line of sight. You must skip your Move Phase to use this spell in battle. You may teleport any number of units with you so long as they are in direct physical contact with you.
Short Cast Effect: Same as Full Cast, but you gain 12 fatigue per 20’ traveled instead of 6.
Description: This spell can easily be tiring to use, but it’s incredibly useful for reaching impossibly difficult places.
KaiLa Vark (Deflect)
Fatigue Gained: 1 per damage blocked
Effect: Casting KaiLa Vark may be performed as a Quick Action. Creates a barrier of light that completely blocks a single attack around the caster or a target within 30’ and line of sight.
Description: This invocation is possibly one of the best defensive spells when anticipating an incoming heavy hit. However, it cannot be cast in quick succession.
3rd Tier Invocation:
VaeLa Repra (Restore)
Incantation: Sun that shines upon our world. Holy light of the goddess. Turn back the hands of time that took this object from us.
Fatigue Gained: 50
Effect: This invocation cannot be Short Casted. Restores an inanimate object to its previous form 3 minutes prior. This invocation only affects an object’s physical form, so it cannot restore any lost magic from the object, such as an enchantment.
Description: Although its uses are somewhat limited, this invocation is most useful for repairing recently broken objects of great value.
