1st Tier Invocations:
Zi Blastuk (Lightning Touch)
Fatigue Gained: 4
Effect: Creates a strong instantaneous shock from the palm of your hand. A touched target performs three Vitality checks. If they roll a 10 or higher, they pass. If they fail at least twice, they are Staggered for one round. You may spend 3 FP to increase the check to 12.
Description: As opposed to Zi Zoch’s low, yet constant, voltage, Zi Blastuk is meant to deliver a short burst of high voltage to immobilize a target for a moment. It wasn’t created to actually harm a person, however.
Zi Magnus (Magnetic Pull)
Fatigue Gained: 2
Effect: Pulls a small to medium-sized metallic object to your hand. Casting Zi Magnus may be performed as a Quick Action.
Description: Most used for grabbing an object that is out of reach or a weapon that has been knocked away.
Zi Zoch (Charge)
Fatigue Gained: 2
Effect: Charges an object with electricity. Casting Zi Zoch may be performed as a Quick Action.
Description: Originally created as a gag spell to shock someone with a handshake, this invocation has gained practical uses in modern times with the advent of small electrical appliances such as telephones and portable radios.
2nd Tier Invocations:
KaiZi Blastrum (Shock Storm)
Incantation: Wrath of the twins. Unseen by the goddess. I call upon your power. Crash down on those who stand before me.
Fatigue Gained: 6 per 10’ radius (max. 50’)
Full Cast Effect: Calls down a storm of lightning to shock all units within a large circular area. All hit units perform a Vitality check three times. On a result of 12 or higher, they pass. If they fail twice, they are Staggered for one round. If they fail three times, they are Staggered for two rounds. You may spend 3 FP to increase the check to 15.
Short Cast Effect: Same as Full Cast, but you gain 10 fatigue per 10’ radius instead of 6.
Description: Although it is not a very physically harmful invocation, KaiZi Blastrum is useful for temporarily immobilizing a large group.
KaiZi Blaswebb (Lightning Web)
Incantation: Wrath of the twins. Unseen by the goddess. Gather in my hand, and release your power. Punish those who dare surround me.
Fatigue Gained: 8 per 10’ radius (max. 50’)
Full Cast Effect: Creates a web of lightning that runs across the ground around you to electrify all units within range. All hit units are dealt 3d20 lightning damage. Roll damage separately for each hit unit. You may spend 2 FP to increase the damage by 1d20. Hit units may attempt to pass a Vitality check of 14 or higher to take half damage from the attack.
Short Cast Effect: Same as Full Cast, but you gain 16 fatigue per 10’ radius instead of 8.
Description: This is a very useful invocation while surrounded in a pinch, especially against multiple weak enemies. It may not kill, but there’s a very good chance of scaring off some smaller foes.
3rd Tier Invocation:
VaeZi Blasgran (Greater Lightning)
1st round Incantation: Wrath of the twins. Unseen by the goddess. Thunder that screams across the Vast. Thunder that silences the hearts of men.
2nd round Incantation: I call upon your power. The power that cleaved the world. Gather in my hand and destroy my enemy.
Fatigue Gained: 12
Full Cast Effect: Shoot a powerful blast of lightning from your hand with a range of 80’. Deals 10d20 + 40 lightning damage to the first target the lightning comes into contact with and leaves the target Staggered and Burning. The target may attempt to pass a Vitality check of 18 or higher to take half damage from the attack.
Short Cast Effect: Same as Full Cast, but you gain 36 fatigue instead of 12.
Description: Tales state how Merlin combined this invocation with the power of a topaz dragon to slay an earth dragon that left Cordegarde to rampage through Oriens. Through their union, Merlin was able to create one of the Flow Rupturor’s ultimate attacks, the Lightning Snap Dragon.
