Inherent Skills:
Natural Weapons Inherent Passive
The Soul Morpher relies on the natural weapons of the beasts it transforms into. As long as the player holds no weapon, the player is considered Dual Wielding. However, if the player chooses to perform a Normal Attack as their extra attack, their Off-Hand suffers no penalty. The player suffers regular dual wielding penalties as if wielding two light, one-handed weapons when performing a Skill as their extra attack.

Shapeshifting Inherent Active
You may shapeshift into one of three main forms: the Ursa, the Rubuffo, and the Raptor. Additionally, you may transform into any number of other forms if you possess the Basic Capture Soul skill. In normal form, you can skip your Move Phase or a Main Action in order to shapeshift. To transform again, you must wait a minimum of 3 rounds. If you run out of usable FP, you automatically revert back to your normal form. Although the Soul Morpher does not use a weapon, your Weapon Proficiency is called the Animal Soul, and functions exactly like a weapon for proficiency purposes.

Soul of the Ursa Inherent Active
The Soul Morpher changes their physiology to take on a form that resembles the ursa. While in this form, the Soul Morpher gains +1 Physical Damage, +1 Physical Evasion, and their Normal Attack deals 1d10 damage with a range of 0’-5’. The Soul Morpher automatically reverts back to their normal form when they run out of usable FP.

Soul of the Rubuffo Inherent Active
The Soul Morpher changes their physiology to take on a form that resembles the rubuffo. While in this form, the Soul Morpher gains +1 Physical Evasion, +1 Magic Evasion, and their Normal Attack deals 1d6 damage with a range of 0’-20’. The Soul Morpher automatically reverts back to their normal form when they run out of usable FP.

Soul of the Raptor Inherent Active
The Soul Morpher changes their physiology to take on a form that resembles the terroraptor. While in this form, the Soul Morpher gains +1 Physical Damage, +1 Magic Evasion, and their Normal Attack deals 1d8 damage with a range of 0’-5’. The Soul Morpher automatically reverts back to their normal form when they run out of usable FP.

Basic Skills:

(1) Charge Basic Active - Offensive
Charge at a foe to deal a heavy blow to them.
Attack Type: Physical Property: Single Target

Combat Effects: Usable only in ursa form. You must skip your Move Phase in order to use this skill. Move up to your Movement Speed in a straight line until you reach your target, ignoring Deadlock while doing so, and deal 2d8 + PDMG physical damage. Units that are caught between you and your target do not take damage, but they are Knocked Back 10’.

(1) Leaping Strike Basic Active - Offensive
Leap onto a foe to strike them.
Attack Type: Physical Property: Single Target

Combat Effects: Usable only in rubuffo form. You may ignore Deadlock when choosing a target. Deals 2d6 + PDMG physical damage. Chance to cause Floored on a 1d6 roll of 4-6. Your character lands adjacent to the target after this skill resolves.

(1) Ram Basic Active - Offensive
Lower your head and ram straight through your foes.
Attack Type: Physical Property: Pass-Through Line AoE

Combat Effects: Usable only in raptor form. You must skip your Move Phase in order to use this skill. Move up to your Movement Speed in a straight line, ignoring Deadlock while doing so. All units along your path of movement are dealt 1d8 + PDMG physical damage and are Knocked Back by Strength Modifier*5’.

(2) Call of the Pack Basic Active - Buff
Roar like an ursa to boost yourself.
Attack Type: Magical Property: Target User
FP Cost: 3 FP Range: None
Buff Duration: 3 rounds Cool Down Category: C
Effect: Only usable in ursa form. Physical Damage +3, Physical Evasion +2. You may use this skill as a Quick Action, or you may move your entire Movement Speed during your Move Phase and still use this skill as your Main Action.

(2) Call of the Army Basic Active - Buff
Croak like a rubuffo to boost yourself.
Attack Type: Magical Property: Target User
FP Cost: 3 FP Range: None
Buff Duration: 3 rounds Cool Down Category: C
Effect: Only usable in rubuffo form. Physical Evasion +2, Magic Evasion +2. You may use this skill as a Quick Action, or you may move your entire Movement Speed during your Move Phase and still use this skill as your Main Action.

(2) Call of the Flock Basic Active - Buff
Screech like a terroraptor to boost yourself.
Attack Type: Magical Property: Target User

Buff Duration: 3 rounds Cool Down Category: C
Effect: Only usable in raptor form. Physical Damage +3, Magic Evasion +2. You may use this skill as a Quick Action, or you may move your entire Movement Speed during your Move Phase and still use this skill as your Main Action.

(3) Crushing Bite Basic Active - Offensive Debuff
Bite down hard into a foe to cripple them.
Attack Type: Physical Property: Single Target

Cool Down Category: B
Combat Effects: Only usable in ursa form. Deals 1d12 + PDMG physical damage. Leaves the target Helpless.

(3) Tongue Lash Basic Active - Offensive
Lash out your tongue to attack all units in front of you.
Attack Type: Physical Property: Cone AoE
FP Cost: 2 FP Range: 0’ - 20’

Combat Effects: Only usable in rubuffo form. Deals 1d8 + PDMG physical Water damage to all units within range in a 90-degree cone.

(3) Skirting Slash Basic Active - Offensive
Slash a foe with your razor sharp talon before skillfully evading an attack.
Attack Type: Physical Property: Single Target
FP Cost: 2 FP Range: 0’ - 5’
Cool Down Category: A
Combat Effects: Only usable in raptor form. Deals 1d10 + PDMG physical damage. The next time an attack would hit you, it misses instead, even if it is a Critical Hit.

(4) Double Swipe Basic Active - Offensive
Swipe your massive claws twice at a single target, or once to two targets.
Attack Type: Physical Property: Multi-Target
FP Cost: 2 FP Range: 0’ - 5’
Cool Down Category: A
Combat Effects: Only usable in ursa form. Deals 2d6 + PDMG physical damage twice to a single target or once to two different targets. You may roll to hit once for both attacks or separately.

(4) Tongue Tether Basic Active - Offensive
Whip out your tongue to pull in a foe.
Attack Type: Physical Property: Single Target
FP Cost: 2 FP Range: 0’ - 20’

Combat Effects: Only usable in rubuffo form. Deals 1d8 + PDMG physical damage. If the target is Normal size or smaller, the target is pulled towards you and ends adjacent to your character. If the target is Large size or bigger, your character is pulled towards the target and you end adjacent to your target. You may immediately perform a Normal Attack on the target after using this skill.

(4) Beak Smash Basic Active - Offensive
Smash your beak into a foe to try to stagger them.
Attack Type: Physical Property: Single Target
FP Cost: 1 FP Range: 0’ - 5’

Combat Effects: Only usable in raptor form. Deals 2d6 + PDMG physical damage. Chance to cause Staggered on a 1d6 roll of 5-6.

Basic Capture Soul Basic Active Passive
Whenever you deal the killing blow to a non-spirit creature up to 15’ in height or 15’ in length, you may capture their soul to memorize their form to transform into later. Spend 4 FP to transform into a creature you’ve previously memorized. Your attributes and stats (except Hit Points) change to those of the creature, and you gain all of the creature’s special senses, weaknesses, resistances, and passive skills. You also gain access to the creature’s active skills with a frequency of 7 at no cost, and 6 and 8 at the cost of 2 FP. Consult your GM for this information. If you capture the soul of an Ursa, Rubuffo, or Terroraptor, you instead double the stat bonuses of transforming into that form and reduce the FP costs of that form by 1, to a minimum of 1.

Advanced Skills:

(5) Mangling Claws Advanced Active - Offensive
Use your sharp claws to leave deep cuts into your foe.
Attack Type: Physical Property: Single Target
FP Cost: 3 FP Range: 0’ - 5’
Cool Down Category: A
Combat Effects: Only usable in ursa form. Deals 2d8 + PDMG physical damage. The target gains 2 stacks of Bleeding.

(5) Poisonous Gas Advanced Active - Offensive
Release a toxic gas that follows you around and poisons everything around you.
Attack Type: Magical Property: Point-Blank AoE
FP Cost: 4 FP Range: 0’ - 10’
Cool Down Category: B
Combat Effects: Only usable in rubuffo form. Creates a poison cloud around you for 1d6 rounds (max. 4). Deals 1d4 + PDMG magical Water damage to all units within 10’ of you upon cast and at the beginning of each of your turns. Any unit that comes into contact with the cloud is now Poisoned.

(5) Tailwind Storm Advanced Active - Offensive Buff
Create a powerful wind that cuts at your foes and boosts your allies.
Attack Type: Magical Property: Cleave AoE, Target Party
FP Cost: 4 FP Range: 0’ - 20’
Buff Duration: 2 rounds Cool Down Category: B
Combat Effects: Only usable in raptor form. Deals 3d6 + PDMG magical Wind damage to all units in a 20’x15’ area in front of you. For the next 2 rounds, you and all allies within 20’ of you may move their entire Movement Speed during their Move Phase and still perform a Main Action, and Critically Evade on a natural evade roll of 4 or higher.

(6) The Beast Advanced Passive
This skill only affects your ursa form. Your Normal Attacks have a chance to cause 1 stack of Bleeding on a 1d6 roll of 4-6 and Critically Hit on a natural hit roll of 11 or higher.

(6) The Voyager Advanced Passive
This skill only affects your rubuffo form. You ignore Deadlock for movement purposes, and your Movement Speed is undeterred by terrain and elevation.

(6) The Hunter Advanced Passive
This skill only affects your raptor form. Your Movement Speed is doubled as long as you travel in a straight line. Whenever a unit attempts to Break Away from you, whether they fail or succeed their Break Away roll, you may perform an opposing Agility check with them. If you tie or win, you may follow them wherever they move so that you are still Deadlocked.

(7) Fatal Maul Advanced Active - Offensive
Maul an enemy with both paws at once.
Attack Type: Physical Property: Single Target
FP Cost: 3 FP Range: 0’ - 5’
Cool Down Category: A
Combat Effects: Only usable in ursa form. Deals 3d8 + PDMG physical damage. This skill Critically Hits on a natural hit roll of 9 or higher. If this skill Crucially Strikes, the target automatically fails their Vitality check, and you add 10 to your detriment roll.

(7) Rebounding Kick Advanced Active - Offensive
Kick off of a foe to get away from them.
Attack Type: Physical Property: Single Target
FP Cost: 3 FP Range: 0’ - 5’
Cool Down Category: A
Combat Effects: Only usable in rubuffo form. Deals 2d8 + PDMG physical damage. Leaves the target Staggered. You may jump up to Strength Modifier*5’ away from the target after using this skill.

(7) Retaliation Slash Advanced Active - Offensive
Dodge an incoming attack and retaliate with your sharp talons.
Attack Type: Physical Property: Single Target, Special - Interrupt
FP Cost: 2 FP Range: 0’ - 20’
Cool Down Category: A
Combat Effects: Only usable in raptor form. If you would be hit by a Single Target attack within range of this skill, you may activate this skill to evade the attack, even if it is a Critical Hit, and deal 2d6 + PDMG physical damage to the attacker. After this skill resolves, your character is moved anywhere adjacent to the attacker.

(8) Feral Rage Advanced Active - Offensive Buff
Enter a feral state and attack a foe endlessly.
Attack Type: None Property: Single Target
FP Cost: 3 FP Range: None
Cool Down Category: A
Effect: Only usable in ursa form. You may perform up to 4 Normal Attacks on a single target in a single Main Action this turn.

(8) Exploit Blight Advanced Active - Offensive
Strike a foe to exploit the blights in their body.
Attack Type: Physical Property: Single Target
FP Cost: 3 FP Range: 0’ - 5’
Cool Down Category: A
Combat Effects: Only usable in rubuffo form. Deals 3d6 + PDMG physical Water damage. Deals double damage if the target is Bleeding, Burning, or Poisoned.

(8) Dive Bomb Advanced Active - Offensive
Dive straight into a foe to leave them floored.
Attack Type: Physical Property: Single Target, Impact Line
FP Cost: 3 FP Range: 0’ - 25’

Combat Effects: Only usable in raptor form. Deals 2d8 + PDMG physical Wind damage. Leaves the target Floored. Your character lands adjacent to the target after this skill resolves.

Advanced Capture Soul Advanced Passive
You may only learn this skill if you’ve already learned Basic Capture Soul. When you transform into a creature you’ve previously memorized, you gain access to the creature’s active skills with a frequency of 4, 5, 9, and 10 at the cost of 4 FP, and you deal 1 bonus damage while in that form.

Daily Skills:

(9) Ground Fissure Daily Active - Offensive
Pound your paws into the ground with enough force to cause fissures around you.
Attack Type: Physical Property: Point-Blank AoE
FP Cost: None Range: 0’ - 15’
Cool Down Category: D
Combat Effects: Only usable in ursa form. Deals 5d12 + PDMG physical Earth damage to all units within 15’. Leaves all hit units Floored. Deals a bonus 2d12 damage to units that are already Floored. You may also perform Crashing Rapids and Shredding Squall in the same battle at no additional Fatigue cost.
Overflow Bonus: 8 HP cost - Damage + 2d12. This skill cannot be Critically Evaded.
Other Effects: Ground Fissure turns the terrain within 15’ of you into Uneven terrain.

(9) Crashing Rapids Daily Active - Offensive
Create jets of water that burst up from the ground and crashes down around you.
Attack Type: Magical Property: Point-Blank AoE
FP Cost: None Range: 0’ - 15’

Combat Effects: Only usable in rubuffo form. Deals 5d12 + PDMG magical Water damage to all units within 15’. Leaves all hit units Staggered. Deals a bonus 2d12 damage to units that are already Staggered. You may also perform Ground Fissure and Shredding Squall in the same battle at no additional Fatigue cost.
Overflow Bonus: 8 HP cost - Damage + 2d12. This skill cannot be Critically Evaded.
Other Effects: Crashing Rapids turns the terrain within 15’ of you into Muddy terrain.

(9) Shredding Squall Daily Active - Offensive
Create a flurry of wind that slices apart everything around you.
Attack Type: Magical Property: Point-Blank AoE
FP Cost: None Range: 0’ - 15’

Combat Effects: Only usable in raptor form. Deals 5d12 + PDMG magical Wind damage to all units within 15’. Roll 1d6 for each hit target. On a result of 1-2, that target gains 1 stack of Bleeding. On a result of 3-4, that target gains 2 stacks of Bleeding. On a result of 5-6, that target gains 3 stacks of Bleeding. Deals a bonus 2d12 damage to units that are already Bleeding. You may also perform Ground Fissure and Crashing Rapids in the same battle at no additional Fatigue cost.
Overflow Bonus: 8 HP cost - Damage + 2d12. This skill cannot be Critically Evaded.

Master Capture Soul Daily Passive
You may only learn this skill if you’ve already learned Advanced Capture Soul. When you transform into a creature you’ve previously memorized, you gain access to the creature’s active skills with a frequency of 2, 3, 11 and 12 at the cost of 6 FP and have a Cool Down Category of A, and you deal 2 bonus damage while in that form (stacks with Advanced Capture Soul).
